We believe that all Christians are called to seek the salvation of the people around them. We consider the greater Williamsport area our active mission field. In addition to fostering local evangelism, New Life encourages and supports special short-term missions projects among its members and friends.

New Life, together with the whole Orthodox Presbyterian Church, commits to making disciples around the world. Believing that it is necessary to preach and teach the Bible with all authority for the spread of the gospel and planting of indigenous churches, the OPC seeks especially to send ordained ministers to the mission field, along with others in a helping capacity. Ordained OPC missionaries are fully supported by the denomination. New Life supports these missionaries financially, practically, and prayerfully. More information about our denomination's worldwide missionary endeavor can be found here.

We have a special commitment to and interest in a college ministry called DISCIPLE MAKERS. Several of the DISCIPLE MAKERS' staff take regular part in the church worship and fellowship.

With the goal of reaching unbelievers, and also sharing the riches of a Reformed understanding of the Bible with fellow believers, New Life sponsors the local broadcast of R. C. Sproul's radio program, Renewing Your Mind, from 6:30-7:00 p.m. on weekdays on Light for Life, WJSA (96.3 and 100.5 FM and 1600 AM).

We support HARVEST USA, which is "a ministry of truth and mercy, proclaiming Christ as Lord to a sexually broken world. The purpose of HARVEST USA is to partner with and equip the Church in bringing the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to transform the lives of those affected by sexual sin."

We have been much enriched in supporting and helping CAMP SUSQUE, a Christian camp in Trout Run, Pennsylvania, whose mission is to evangelize youths and strengthen the faith of young Christians by helping them to develop a Christian world and life view. You can learn more about their varied ministry on their website.
